  Lok Kala Manch & Sangeetanjali-Mumbai Organized Naadbramotsava
  LOK KAL MANCH & SANGEETANJALI, in association with The Pioneer Arts Education Society, organized an evening of classical Music & Dance in the memory of Smt. Chandrakanti Sinha, on the 23rd of November ’13. Vidhushi Anurita Rai commenced the program with the legendary composition of great Acharya Pandit Anupam Rai - “Saraswati Vandan”- in rag Ragini Saraswati set to Aarachaastaal of 14 beats. The main vocal program was presented by Pt. Anuratn Rai, a Kishore Sangeet Martand, an young internationally renowned classical vocalist, well versed in both schools of vocal music – Rampur Saharswaas Gharana & Sainia Mihar Gharana. He is the son and disciple of: Naad Yogi” Acharya Pandit Anupam. He presented Raag Vachaspati, a Vilambit composition in Teentaal of 16 beats and a rarest composition of Tarana in Drut Aarachar Taal of 14 Beats followed by a traditionally popular Thuwri from Patiala Gharana. Second phase of ‘Naadbrahmostav’ were ornamented with Natwari Kathak Nritya by Internationally acclaimed legendry Kathak Dance Maestro Vidhushi Ruchi Sharma. She is a representative of two schools of Kathak Dance – Jaipur Gharana & Lucknow Gharana. She has been conferred with the title of “Dancing Queen of the millennium’ in London after a world record setting dance performance of 15 hrs. She started per performance with “Hari Vandana” depicting four religious stories 1. Bhakta Prahlad 2. Shabri Ke Ram 3. Mira Ke Shyam 4. Draupadi – Krishna She then presented Vilambit & Drut Teentaal of 16 Beats, as also some of the rarest and traditional compositions, Baant Tatkaar, Chand Kavit and some researched novel Tihaies. She concluded her performance with a beautiful Khand Kavya “Aparna” a depiction the story of how Lord Ganesh became “Gajanau”. SANGEETANJALI – Mumbai’s foremost cultural organization dedicated to Indian Music and Dance since 1977 and The Pioneer Arts Education Society thanked Lok Kala Manch for inviting them to organize the program in Delhi.
